4. Every HuntMap™ uses the same topographic information that is provided by the United States Geological Survey (USGS). However HuntMap does more! Everyone knows that USGS maps can be outdated - with some USGS maps actually being anywhere from 5, 10, to 20 years old. That’s why we include additional updated information like the recent year’s census data which includes streets, roads and landmarks. Moreover, we add unique State-level information like wildlife refuges and areas, Parks, National Forests, etc. And yes, of course, the State’s Hunt Unit area boundary! This is done so you are getting the most up to date and current map we can provide!
